You're invited to join the National Family Law Pathways Network for a webinar discussing the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia's (FCFCOA) Lighthouse Model and it's expansion.

During this webinar, a representative from the FCFCOA will provide you with an overview of the elements of the Lighthouse Model, what this means for the experiences of families entering the courts, what the courts have learnt, what changes to expect and where to go for information and resources.

The Lighthouse model is an innovative approach taken by the court to screen for risk, with a focus on improving outcomes for families involved in the family law system. The Lighthouse Project was piloted in Adelaide, Brisbane and Paramatta FCFCOA registries across Australia. The Lighthouse model will play a central role in the courts response to cases which may involve family violence, by shaping the allocation of resources and urgency given to such cases.
