Ethics and Law can present challenging situations and The Law Society provides guidance on ethical issues through the Ethics Section of the Professional Standards Department. Many inquiries come from practitioners who feel they or another practitioner may be faced with a conflict of interest or problems with confidentiality.

This workshop aims to explore challenges around solicitors’ and FDRP’s professional ethics in family law:
What challenges exist
How they arise
How to deal with them

Training format
The workshop will include hypotheticals, case law, and general discussion.
